We stumbled upon Migo after having a few beers at Great Flood and were so glad we went in! We're big fans of Game, their sister restaurant, and it's safe to say we now have another favorite taco restaurant in Louisville!
We were seated right away on a Saturday night around six and had great service. I loved it the menu. Their tacos are some of the most creative I've seen! Everything we tried was delicious. They had an entire section of vegetarian tacos which I appreciated! I had the mushroom and corn taco and sweet potato and black bean taco. The mushroom taco was one of the best tacos I've ever had!
We will definitely be back! Great creative flavorful food with a fun atmosphere! -

It has a very trendy, hipster vibe which I'm not a fan of - unless it's accompanied by exceptional food, which this was experience not. (I don't like paying extra for a waiter with a handlebar mustache - who was not exceptional either).
The guacamole was tasteless and the chips tasted stale. There were four of us who each got two different tacos, and not a single one of us said "wow - this is yummy!" We all kind of picked at the unspectacular fillers. I will say the brussel sprouts were delicious - which saved this from getting one star.
Overall, the food did not live up to the prices and atmosphere. Those who like a trendy vibe and fancy drinks would likely have a different experience, but this restaurant is not for me. -

A very good dining option for small plates and tacos, cocktails and brews and a great place to sit with your daughters and listen to what they've been up to. The small plates are Latin influenced with empandas, yucca tots, and chimmi/verde wings among their offerings. The tacos are more gourmet than traditional, with creative fillings like breaded lobster and Korean short ribs. Those two were my picks for best tacos. My girls got the same and added chorizo and shrimp. All very good. They'd give it 5 stars. For me there were too many flavors with pickled onions, aioli and queso drizzled on it. The ingredients are better I suppose but doesn't elevate them above the classic and traditional Mexican tacos, 2 corn tortillas, onions and cilantro with whatever meat you choose, and in my opinion isn't as good. But that's not Migos intention, so if you want something slightly different and very good give Migos a try.
Oh it's a little pricey given that great taco stands throughout the southwest offer tacos for $.99 cents.
All in all it's a great place to catch up with family and friends while enjoying some really really good food. -

Last night a friend and I went to Migo for dinner / drinks. We ordered the forbidden fruit margarita of the day, which was peach. The drinks were good but did not stand out to me. We split the chips and salsa (very tasty and fresh REAL chips), the empanadas and the curry cauliflower quesadilla. I highly recommend the quesadilla for a vegetarian. It was a hefty portion with lots of flavor. The empanadas were outstanding as well but only two small ones for $10 seems a bit steep. Our server was super friendly and did a great job making recommendations. Next time I'll come back for tacos.

I came here with family craving some tex-mex before the gym and it is a great casual place to go and have a good conversation with people. This place does not get quiet. I love the atmosphere and the feeling of being able to just talk, eat, and have a good dinner. The server was very patient and nice.
I give this place a 3 star because the food was mediocre, the highlights for me was the Brussels sprouts which if you don't like Brussels sprouts you have to try this one! They leave a charred aftertaste but it's very good. The Guacamole is very creamy and the tortilla chips are fried to perfect! The Short Rib Chilaquiles was by far my favorite dish.
